Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what little information SnipTik processes when you use our website, and how we treat it. We designed the service to be privacy-friendly: no accounts, no download history, no personal profiles.

1. Information we process

• Submitted URLs. The TikTok link you paste is forwarded to our upstream video provider to retrieve download links. It is not stored in a personal history.
• Technical logs. Our server may temporarily record standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, HTTP status) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Rate-limit counters are held in memory for a maximum of one minute and then expire automatically.
• Local storage. Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

2. What we do NOT collect

• No name, email address or account of any kind.
• No permanent database of the videos you download.
• No advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts or cross-site profiling pixels.
• No selling, renting or sharing of data with third parties for marketing.

3. Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. The theme preference is stored in localStorage, which stays on your device.

4. Third-party services

To function, the service relies on third parties we do not control, including:

• The upstream TikTok video provider used to resolve download links.
• Content delivery networks for fonts and the Tailwind CSS framework.

Those providers process data under their own privacy policies.

5. Media files

All media files are streamed directly from their source CDN through our server. We do not host, mirror or keep copies of downloaded videos or audio.

6. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. Because we keep almost nothing, such requests are usually answered by confirming that no relevant data is stored.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision.
